Frontend

I have contributed front and back-end web development for many web and intranet sites over the years, for both private and public sectors.

Most recently, I redesigned the cart and shopping experience for B2B and B2C customers for Australis, and launched the Audio Solutions area of their site.

I also designed and built an online stocklist for the site, replacing an excel-based solution, making it easier to find products and their ETA, as well as allowing data export to CSV of the entire stocklist, or a filtered subset.

Technical Writing

I am skilled in taking technical subject matter, and translating it for delivery to a non-technical audience.

For Example:

  • Scripwriting and Voiceover for Change Management Internal Communications in large organisations

  • Westfield Direct Seller Support Hub launched while working as Integration Specialist

  • Internal Documentation of improved processes for product data ingest for Australis

Backend & Code

In addition to front-end (HTML/CSS & CMS systems), I’m not afraid of getting my hands dirty in Python, Javascript, PHP, etc.

Lately, I’ve been upskilling in ChatGPT & Stable Diffusion Prompt Engineering, and looking for new applications for AI and Neural Networks.

For Example:

  • Australis Online Stocklist built using third-party libraries and custom JS code

  • Product Data Enrichment tools built using Microsoft Power Query and Python

  • Product Data Parsing tools built using Python, Power Query, and Spacy NLP library, to extract product specifications from description fields.

Ecommerce

Having both worked with them first-hand, and integrations, I am deeply knowledgable in Mirakl, Shopify, WooCommerce, Neto/Maropost, xCart, BigCommerce, and the like.

Data & Integration

I am experienced in Data Cleaning, Data Engineering, and Integrations, and have worked to connect backend, ERP, or eCommerce platforms either Direct/API, or using middleware such as Comestri, Cresco, Omnivore, Channel Advisor
